În multe ţări nu există cărţi de muncă, de asta e mai dificil de găsit un echivalent exact. În Germania a existat aşa ceva, cel puţin în fosta RDG, exact ca la noi, şi se numea Arbeitsbuch:

Într-o discuţie de pe forumul de la LEO, apar două variante de traducere +n englezü a lui Arbeitsbuch, valabile în acest context: employment record sau employee's record book. Eu de regulă o folosesc pe aceasta din urmă:
