Intreprindere comuna. Asociatie de intreprinderi sau de persoane fizice, constituita pentru a realiza un anumit proiect de afacere. Conform regulilor de concurenta comunitare,
„intreprinderile comune” sunt intreprinderi controlate in comun de catre cel
putin alte doua intreprinderi. In practica, notiunea acopera un larg evantai de
operatiuni, care merg de la operatiuni de tip „fuziune” (concentrare), pana la
cooperarea in vederea unor activitati specifice, precum cercetarea si
dezvoltarea (R & D), productia sau distributia. Intreprinderile comune cu
functionare deplina, care actioneaza pe piata independent de societatile-mama,
sunt tratate ca operatiuni de concentrare, in conditiile Regulamentului privind
concentrarile.”
