Mă gândesc cu multă emoţie la clipa în care această scrisoare va ajunge la
tine. Îmi cer scuze că nu ştiu să vorbesc prea bine limba engleză, dar un
dicţionar şi multă dragoste îmi sunt de mare ajutor. Nu vreau să pierd această
ocazie pentru a-ţi transmite sentimentele mele fără să te sperii sau să te
necăjesc. Aş vrea să înţelegi ceea ce simt pentru tine: Te iubesc aşa cum tu
iubeşti gimnastica. Te admir mult, îţi admit viaţa şi devotamentul pentru
sport şi de asemenea admir sacrificiile pe care le-ai făcut pentru a ajunge la
acest nivel de performanţă. Aş dori să ştii că sunt cel mai mare admirator al
tău şi pentru mine tu reprezinţi idealul. Preţuiesc alte valori decât ceilalţi
bărbaţi pe care îi cunosc. Eşti înzestrată cu calităţi extraordinare. Nu pot
dormi noaptea gândindu-mă la tine şi sper să intru în viaţa ta măcar printr-o
scrisoare. O parte a visului meu este ca tu să ştii că exist. Visul meu ar deveni
complet atunci când te-aş cunoaşte. Aş trăi o viaţă puţin mai fericită dacă aş
şti că ai aflat de existenţa mea. Am un câine care ar fi şi el fericit să te
cunoască. Nu plâng niciodată pentru nimic, dar am plâns mult pentru tine. Am
plâns când nu ai apărut la televiziune şi am plâns la sfârşitul participării tale la
jocurile olimpice. Consider că dacă plângi pentru cineva înseamnă că acel
cineva într-adevăr are un loc special în inima ta. O singură fiinţă îmi mai
inspiră un sentiment asemănător: câinele meu. Numele meu este Jaen Motta
Mendey. Locuiesc în Uruguay (la 12 000 de km de România), am 19 ani,
practic karate şi sunt student la universitate. Îmi este foarte greu să mă
concentrez asupra studiilor mele pentru că mă gândesc tot timpul la tine.
Setimentele mele pentru tine m-au determinat să creez un sit pe Internet.
Toată lumea poate vedea ceea ce simt pentru tine şi nu-mi pasă ceea ce crede
despre mine. Sper să mă înţelegi şi să-mi împlineşti visul răspunzându-mi la
această scrisoare. Nu am putut găsi cuvântul care să exprime intensitatea
sentimentelor mele. Ar trebui să inventez un cuvânt nou care să te descrie cu
adevărat. Cred că eşti cea mai dulce, minunată, frumoasă fiinţă umană. Un
fluture. Eşti idealul şi mult mai mult decât acesta.
Voi aştepta răspunsul tău toată viaţa.
