Anything wrong with "flicker"?


Explanation:
While I agree with the already suggested "reflector", isn't it obvious that фликер = flicker? If you replace it with "reflector", won't you get a wrong back translation? There must have been a reason why this word was used in the first place.

And thinking about it some more I think I know what was the reason. Or might have been anyway. What about powered flickers on battery? I.e. not a reflector at all but a light?
