Russian to English translations [PRO]
Science - Archaeology / Palaeolithic cultures | | Russian term or phrase: селетоидый | I've spent about 30 minutes hunting this down and have got nowhere, so I put it to the group and see what you can find.
The full paragraph is as follows:
а – памятники ориньякоидного пути развития; б – памятники перигордоидного пути развития; в – памятники селетоидного пути развития; г – районы одновременного существования ориньякоидных и перигордоидных культур; д – районы одновременного существования ориньякоидных и селетоидных культур.
I've got Aurignacian and Perigordian but can't find this селетоидый one anywhere.

I use the wordsmith reference a lot, but would never have guessed the z in the name.
It comes up later as селетский, which has me wondering what the difference is between that and селетоидый. The same ending is tacked onto some other cultures too - ориньякоидный vs, ориньякский, etc.
