Russian to English translations [PRO] Science - Archaeology / Theory of Soviet archaeology | | Russian term or phrase: синстадиальность | I'm okay with the term стадиальный (translated either as stadial or theory of stages according to the context). I can find no helpful references to синстадиальность though. Any ideas? The paragraph whence the phrase is taken is as follows:
В. И. Громов (1961) во время дискуссии 1959 г. признал полезность разграничения периодизации древнекаменного века и классификации культур в палеолите, тем самым, опровергая свое прежнее представление о совпадении синхронности и в развитии индустрий |

синстадиальность is a Soviet archaeological term and as far as I know doesn't have a concise English equivalent ("synstadialness"!).
