| Grading comment Thanks. I didn't realise that this question would be quite the response that it did. Seemed to stir up quite a hornets' nest!
I think we can agree that the articles are short, rather than minor (minor being suggestive of their significance rather than length). I think the word "topical" fits perfectly, which is why I have selected this answer. Thanks everyone!
