Cathie абсолютно права, и я пишу это не для того, чтобы что-то противопоставить ее ответу, а только с целью уточнения. Поэтому прошу Аскера мне никаких очков в этом вопросе не присваивать.

Дело в том, что данная фраза не имеет смысла "выпишите чек", чек уже предполагается выписанным, точнее - находящимся в стадии выписывания.
А эта фраза только указывает, как надо заполнить графу "получатель".
Но это по-русски графа так называется, а по-английски она называется "pay this check to the order of_______".

Заполнить эту графу == to make the cheque payable to
Вот пример :

На каждом чеке в графе "получатель" (PAY THIS CHEQUE TO THE ORDER OF.) укажите имя получателя:
