Russian to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
Russian term or phrase:

English translation:Location (see explanation)
Explanation:
При невозможности уточнить у автора, о какой базе идет речь, предлагается обойти все острые углы с «помещениями», «объектами» и «складами» посредством самого нейтрального слова – "location". Or better yet, “located” as in: … to where the Contractor (or Service Provider, if this is how “ИСПОЛНИТЕЛь” is translated in your piece) is located.

Some other options to consider: "grounds," "camp," "yard," and "operations (support) base."

agree  Jack Slep: Agree with Zamira; база in Russian is as vague as facilities in English , whereas the other answers offered are more specific, more or less!

baza's ok, I like it: very synthetic and renders the idea very well

Can't get through to Dicussion, so writing is here. Lewis is out of his range, evidently. We know that Baza is a very widely-meaning term in Russian. As for premises, he simply doesn't understand the term and treats it as the plural of "premis". Well, it isn't: it's just, basically (:)), the location, the main place where the Contractor is. So I don't understand what are they all talking about.
