Я все же за hi-tech, поскольку огромная доля сегодняшнего российского промышленного производства не конкурентоспособна из-за высокой себестоимости по причине недостаточной автоматизации, а автоматизация и есть чипы и компьютеры. Вспомнилась древняя история - один товарищ статью написал о том, как вот-вот пустят новую птицефабрику на миллион чего-то в год, не то тушек, не то яиц, уж не помню, и будут при ней и детсад, и школа, и профилакторий, и столовые, и натуральное хозяйство, и медпункт, и жилье, и дом культуры, и накладные карманы со встречным швом. И что все это делается только на нашей великой Родине и только для советских людей. И добавил автор - а ведь и правда ничего подобного капиталисты при птицефабрике строить не будут, поскольку такой буржуйский миллионник еще в те времена смена из трех человек обслуживала... Конечно, на дешевой рабсиле можно выехать, но не всегда.

neutral  Victor Potapov: Лишь в качестве уточнения:по-моему,"высокотехнологичный" кроме hi-tech может означать и "передовые технологии"=leading/bleeding edge.Пример:нефть можно качать самотёком (в день по баррелю),а можно cделать ГРП и увеличить добычу -leading edge, innit? :-)
