General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters | | Russian term or phrase: Если б мир объявили, то мы бы сняли многое | From a documentary. An officer is talking about Ustinov's aspirations. I don't know how to translate this particular sentence, and feel like the crux of the matter lies in the fact that I don't understand what exactly they're trying to take off or снять.
я думаю, что это в первую очередь мотивы, которые его к этому принуждали, были такие которые касались его внутреннего мира. Он хотел бы проявить себя как министр обороны, чтоб мы видели . . . ЕСЛИ Б МИР ОБЪЯВИЛИ, ТО МЫ БЫ СНЯЛИ, КОНЕЧНО, МНОГОЕ. А то нас обвинили и все начали орать что мы агрессоры. |

I think here "mir" is same as "глобус".
