Explanation:
In my experience in Russia, корпус usually referred to one unit or block of apartments in a group of such buildings. In that sense, I think 'block' is probably closer to the Russian meaning.
Я думаю что 'block' будет луче потому что корпус - одно здание среди группе зданиях (по-английски "blocks of flats").
