The nominative case after принят is throwing me for a loop; instinct tells me I should be seeing the Instrumental there instead. Is this a typo, or is there a shade of meaning I'm not catching? |

Use the simple past instead of the present perfect, if appropriate. I didn't study the context carefully enough to tell.

Sorry, I do prefer "has been passed" to "has been adopted," but wrote the other in the answer field. |

Asker: OK, I think I see it now. I was assuming that принят referred back to the Tax Code, linking it with Law 40-FZ, rather than referring solely to 40-FZ.
