I know that similar questions have already been asked. Still, I would like you to help me choose the term which will be most appropriate in my context. I know that предмет залога is quite frequently translated as "pledged assets" or "subject of pledge". In my case предмет залога is mortgage certificates (закладные).

Right now I have "subject of pledge" in my translation (that's how it was translated in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). But probably you can suggest something more suitable.
A bit of context (from the contract):
Замена закладных, входящих в Предмет залога, а также его восполнение в течение всего срока действия настоящего Договора не допускаются.
And my translation (I'm not sure that it's correct): During the whole effective period hereof, no mortgage certificates shall be substituted for the mortgage certificates included in the Subject of Pledge, and the Subject of Pledge shall not be replenished.
