Russian to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law (general) | | Russian term or phrase: ЧК | As before, this is from a "technical certificate" (a little logbook of inspections) for a motorbike, but a more recent one.
One page shows the технические осмотры. The words "техосмотр прошел" are stamped for each year from 1981 to 1990. In a separate column, there is another stamp for each year, saying ГАИ МВД УССР, ЧК No 17 - or, in the case of the last two years, ЧК No 24-20.
Any ideas what ЧК stands for?

возможно, частный контролёр имеет лицензию МВД и, соответственно, такой штамп. Точно не знаю. Вот ссылка:

То есть вновь произведенный автомобиль первый техосмотр должен проходить ... А что смущает, так это аппетиты контролеров – кто бы ими не был. ... информацию в Интернете, касающихся передачи техосмотра в частные руки и .... от проведения техосмотра, как это сделала Украина, - невозможно
