Exploitation warranty Explanation: The maker (or supplier) guaranties that the equipment works properly for a certain period of time (6 months, 1 year, 2 years, etc.). Operation under warranty Explanation: The Russian-English Dictionary of Foreign Trade suggests "guarantee operation", but I have never seen that particular term in an American text. My suggestion is probably redundant since a few people have already suggested the correct meaning, so all I can add is that you should try to find the best wording "formula" for the specific context. |

free of charge maintenance period Explanation: It is nearly the same thing as warranty. The company producing a product guarantees that within a certain period of time it will function properly, otherwise it will be repaired at the company's cost. |

Warranty, warranty period Explanation: "Warranty of performance" is about warranty: agreement, services, etc. "Free of charge maintenance period" passes the meaning: it is about the "period" of exploitation (operation) but is too clumsy and isn't general. Garantiynaya ekspluatatsiya will mean "the period of operation under the warranty" (but not warranty!). |

Performance Guarantee Explanation: That is a full utilisation guarantee.Means a guarantee furnished by a bank (or other) as approved by the employer, guaranteeing the complete execution of the contract and supplemental agreements(if there were) pertaining thereto as described by some pre determined instructions( like "Instructions to tenderers").I propose this according to someoriginal contracts in English since I do not know the context in your hand. 1964/T.Torunoglu |

Operation vs. "exploitation" Explanation: You have chosen a good explanation, I just wanted to suggest that you stay away from "exploitation" - although it is a fine term in Russian, the English meaning of this word has little to do with operation of machinery. The correct translation is "operation". |

"use under the warranty" or "operation under the warranty" Explanation: This would be my guess. |
