Rachel Douglas: I'd avoid "smart" because I don't see that it has any relationship to "смелый" (bold, daring, audacious); and it could be confused with the IT term "интеллектуальный" (as in "smart modem"). / Repeat: this would confuse it with the IT sense of "smart."

-> Но в данном случае, в русском варианте, слово "смелый" не несет своей обычной смысловой нагрузки, мне кажется. А подразумевает именно "передовые", "интеллектуальные" решения.

Michael Korovkin: with Rachel 100%. Translating "смелый" as "smart" is, in fact, слишком смело (too bold...) :) +yep, but all those, too, just don't get rendered by "smart".

-> Возможно, но все же данный контекст слова мне кажется ближе к одной из трактовок, к примеру из словаря Ушакова: " вызывающий, выходящий за границы того, что принято", то бишь - новаторский, innovative. В любом случае - спорить не осмелюсь. :)
