Принципиальной разницы правда нет. Просто я очень привыкла к тому, что batch = партия, т.к. одно время у меня были огромные объемы досье на фармпрепараты, и там было множество всяких batches: партии сырья, партии образцов, партии пробные, партии промышленные итд итп. С другой стороны, когда говорят о вакцинах, то серия - как правило lot. Поэтому я просто привыкла именно к такому порядку (что отнюдь не исключает отратного).
Относительно того, что, по-видимому, здесь нет принципиальной разницы. Одно слово перевести как "lot",
другое как "batch". Количество упаковок может относиться к
любому слову.
Упаковка should be kit/box/bottle/vial/blister - in case the text is about a clinical trial and you don't know anything about the kind of packaging, then I would suggest using the word "kit"
I don't think there is a major difference. Both "commercial scale batch" and "commercial scale lot" are used. However I have seen "commercial scale batch" more often.
Mikhail! The only thing retained from the document is the # of digits in each item. So, which is it? Batch versus lot or lot versus batch? I thought these were synonymous in English—hence my confusion.
