Probably someone else will come up with something better, but this is what I would probably use.

Or perhaps "6-10 doses per day, combined and taken as two separate doses." But Caroline's version works as well.

Michael, your version with "each" doesn't work for me, as it sounds like two intakes for each of the 6-10 doses.
