Russian to English translations [PRO] Military / Defense / General\\\'s name | | Russian term or phrase: Вюйемэн | This is the Cyrillic transliteration of a French name, a World War II French general. I'm hoping somebody who knows more about Cyrillic renderings of French names than I do can help. Here's all I have to identify him:
Две копии этого документа были адресованы, соответственно, генералу Кельцу, командующему сухопутными войсками Франции и генералу Вюйемэну, начальнику генштаба ВВС Франции и главнокомандующему ее воздушным флотом.
I found a list of WWII French generals here:
http://www.generals.dk/nation/France.html
but no name that looks like it could be transliterated as "Вюйемэн." |

Asker: Didn't find it in Википедия, Michael. Now that I know what to look for, I found it with Google, though. Guess I should have taken French instead of "Party" in college.
