Art/Literary - Military / Defense | | Russian term or phrase: господним расположением | In this sentence about storming a castle: "Нападающие готовили к бою осадные орудия, штурмовые лестницы, точили мечи и затем, вдохновившись ***господним расположением***, лезли на стены."
A Google search turned up little enough, although the term seems to be used in religious texts. Maybe something like "the grace of God"? Anybody know for sure? |

"Вдохновившись" I would not translate as "inspired" in this case. I think in this situation it should sound something like this: "empowered by the God's Grace ..."
