na | egg-white batter |

egg-white batter Explanation: After checking Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish dictionaries, I looked in a German-English dictionary, because the word sounds identical to the German adjective "klar," meaning "clear." In German dialect this word also means the "white of an egg." So perhaps the Russian word derives from the German word and means a batter consisting of egg-white and flour for coating meat and fish.
