Russian term or phrase: выпивать залпом
Все перечисленные фильмы хочется не столько смотреть, сколько прикасаться к ним физически: выкуривать, выпивать залпом в публичных местах и особенно – надевать на себя, чтобы все видели, насколько утончен твой вкус

All the above mentioned films I want not so much to watch as to touch them physically: smoke them, toss them off / drink them off in public places and especially to put them on

to take [them] down in a single draft

Explanation:
Apparently, the context implies "drinking" each of the films "in a single draft" slowly enough to "savor its taste" without interruption as long as possible, whereas tossing connotes a swift/sudden action
That is,
"to toss off/down = to drink a drink very quickly"
http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/toss off
http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/toss down
doesn't work here

--------------------------------------------------

Important notes:
1. Even though 'to take down' in combination with 'draft' may be used as an equivalent of выпивать, the literal 'to drink down' is better here (on second thought)
2. The word 'gulp' means a quick swallow, whereas 'draft' (cognate with the verb 'to draw') connotes a rather slow, long, drawn-out one (see explanation above)
3. The word 'shot' means a small amount (e.g., of liquor); say, 'shot glass' (стопка, стопарь) is exactly the kind of glasses Jersey girls downed in the example provided by James
4. In the context, "выкуривать, выпивать залпом" may mean "выкуривать залпом, выпивать залпом" (in order to savor the full "taste") as well as "выкуривать, залпом выпивать"
Accordingly, the "draft" in the translation suggested here may mean "a single act of drinking or inhaling" ~ глоток или затяжка (табачным дымом)
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/draft
Example:
"Holmes grins, takes a long draft on his pipe, and calls his visitor by name"
http://www.steveoppenheimer.com/kgo/articles/eyesonly.html
The translation may be phrased as follows:
"All of the films mentioned above should be perceived physically rather than [just] watched: you feel like smoking or drinking them down in public places in a single draft, and especially putting them on to show off your fine taste"
which works perfectly either way (no matter whether "залпом" is associated with "выкуривать" or not)

However, 'to take down' may work too with a slightly expanded metaphor:
"All of the films mentioned above should be perceived physically rather than [just] watched: you feel like taking them down in a single draft in public places, like a bottle of liquor or a cigar, and especially putting them on to show off your fine taste"

Reference: Definitions of 'to belt down'

Reference information:
WordNet 3.0 (2003-2008) defines it as
"to drink down entirely"
Note an example of using its synonym, 'to kill':
"She killed a bottle of brandy that night"
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/belt down
Anybody believe she did it in one shot?
In another example,
"If I was a drinking man I'd probably have belted down a bottle of Jack' by this time"
http://shrinkingman.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=complete&a...
the last three words make it clear that it's about anything but "выпивать залпом"

The Macmillan Dictionary is more specific:
"to drink alcoholic drinks quickly, one after another"
Example:
"belting down shots of whiskey"
http://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/american/belt-...
And that's exactly how a bottle of brandy could possibly be killed "that night" (first example above) or "by this time" (second example), i.e., shot after shot after shot
