Рассматривается сетка (сетчатая оболочка, grid) с квадратными ячейками, включающими стойки (post), пояса (chord) и раскосы (diagonal).

Параметр s, который называется коэффициент заполнения сетки, входит в формулу для жесткости элемента сетки.

В контексте это выглядит так:
s -- коэффициент заполнения сетки, a -- размер ячейки. Принята квадратная ячейка, в связи с чем s=1.5, так как одна половина жесткости раскоса относится к поясу, а другая -- к стойке.

Неужели кто-нибудь знает ответ?
