agree  dacs04: I would add that колобок is a very carefree character of a Russian fairy tale named Колобок. I think it's important to reflect this in the translation somehow. Maybe "to roll happily around" or something.

"to roll head-over-heels" means - a total circumgyration, summerset, or tumble heels-over-head action.

go humpty-dumpty

Explanation:
Humpty Dumpty is a character in an English language nursery rhyme, probably originally a riddle and one of the best known in the English-speaking world. He is typically portrayed as an egg and has appeared or been referred to in a large number of works of literature and popular culture.

From "Rhymes and Poems for Children of the Light"

Humpty Dumpty was a round egg
Humpty Dumpty had a big head,
Try as he might to stand up and be still,
Humpty Dumpty ROLLED downhill.
Humpty Dumpty wasn't afraid
If someone bumped him, he would break,
He had a magic all his own,
If he got cracked, new skin would grow.
Humpty's magic gave him hope,
If he ROLLED down a slippery slope,
He'd turn end to end and ROLL back to the top.

English speaking people probably don't know what "колобок" is, but they surely know what Humpty Dumpty is - also round and rolling. So I had this association about years going humpty-dumpty (i.e., rolling happily along).
