Russian term or phrase: по назначению на все 100%
The company makes a model globe (out of plaster) using a 3-D printer.

Сам по себе глобус может и не использоваться по назначению на все 100%, но как оригинальный предмет интерьера украсит кабинет любого руководителя, послужит отличным подарком.

Not 100% accurate?

Thanks. What I actually used was "The globe is not an exact representation of the Earth, but it makes an excellent gift..." etc.

Explanation:
Or, keep "100%" - or, entirely, totally, completely. The point is that it's a globe, but probably won't be used for its map qualities; rather, as an office decoration. ... As far as I can see, anyway.

Also, "designed" would be an alternative to "intended."

Follow-up to Susan: OK, so even if it's _real_ intended purpose is as decoration, I think what they're saying is "even if it's not eactly being used for what you normally think a globe is meant to be used for."

Notes to answerer
Asker: You've got the meaning right. The problem with a translation like that, which I considered, is that its intended purpose IS to be decoration. So I was wondering whether it could be translated as "not 100% accurate"--but that doesn't sound like the sort of thing you'd say in a company promotional.
