agree  Jim Tucker: nice - personally I prefer "*put* it where the sun *don't* shine" - folksier and snappier rhythm // @ comments below: just "stuff it" is also fine. (Definitely "where," not "to where")

agree  Jack Doughty: with Jim.

  -> Thank you

agree  Alexander Kupriyanchuk: Probably, "...(IN)TO..."? // Thank you for discussing this.
1 hr
-> See other responses regarding "TO" (and I agree with them). But thanks.

agree  Rachel Douglas: Or the short form, "They can take their opinion and stuff it." But if she uses "where," then without "to" (regarding what Alexander wrote). / Heh heh. Only if one rashly and without justification omits "their opinion."
2 hrs
-> Thank you. But are you sure your form is shorter? Word for word they are the same length!

neutral  gutbuster: I am with Rachel Douglas' short form, "... where the sun *don't*(doesn't) shine" is coarser and more aggressive. The source does not deserve to be so mutilated emphatically.
3 hrs
-> I beg to disagree. The original is quite emphatic in *where* exactly they can stuff their opinion - the same place my translation suggests.

Who gives a hoot about their opinion?

Explanation:
(You hired me to kill aliens, and that's exactly what I'm doing!)

A deviation, sure, but I like the way it flows.

they can wipe their ... with their opinion

Explanation:
they can wipe their ,,, with their opinion.

Emphatic due to the repetition of the possessive pronoun...and the rest of it.

But I like Mark's answer too.
