  -> Might be more common in UK, but by no means unknown in the US. "Mommy" seems to be the gold standard. :-)

agree  Michael Korovkin: not true! You hear it in the US a lot! Not in the Midwest hillbillyland, of course, but elsewhere you do. And then why this cultural imperialism?English is spoken all over the world...in most places – better than in the US of A.Excellent rendering,momsy!

  -> what can i say... It must be quite old fashioned and, perhaps, geographically limited. My family members (American) use it on regular basis, and it is used in movies and literature. I'll have to dig up examples. A belated Thank you!
