Russian to English translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Slang / Football web forum on a new pitch
Russian term or phrase: Поляна не продувается...Будут вам Лужники...
This is a really tricky translation which I am doing of a web forum about the laying of a new pitch at FC Metalist (Ukraine) in preparation for the Euro 2012 tournament.

The link to the forum is here: http://euro2012.ua-football.com/news/4df7498e

The people on this forum are complaining that they do not feel that the pitch is ready or that it is growing properly. However, there are a few phrases which are quite tricky and need a bit of input.

This is a post which is causing problems:

"До сраки ваш новый газон...

Стадион надо было правильно реконструировать...

Поляна не продувается...

Будут вам Лужники..."

So... "I don't care about your new turf (or, to hell with your new turf)... The stadium should have been rebuilt properly...???"

What is meant by "Поляна не продувается..."?

And I understand that "Лужники" refers to Luzhniki Sports Stadium in Moscow, but is this some reference to the disaster that happened there? Or something else which I am unaware of?

agree  Kiwiland Bear: I take it you meant "something like Luzhniki"? And I think Mark's wording sounds a bit better, closer in spirit to the original. But the meaning is spot on.
