Russian to English translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Slang / football web forum on a new pitch
Russian term or phrase: а затем у вас быть
This is a really tricky translation which I am doing of a web forum about the laying of a new pitch at FC Metalist (Ukraine) in preparation for the Euro 2012 tournament.

The link to the forum is here: http://euro2012.ua-football.com/news/4df7498e

***А зачем у вас быть...***
Достаточно было поговорить со старым евреем профессором , специалистом по турбодинамике из ХАИ...:)))

What is the meaning of this "А зачем у вас быть..." - does it mean something like "What, and you have been there?" (accusing the poster of the 2nd post above of being hypocritical.

Why should we? [go there]

Explanation:
As others correctly translated it, it's an answer to the question:

- Have you been there? [To criticise it]
- Why should we? [It's clear enough as it is]
