thanks to kinship ties

Explanation:
The number of women in the organization increases thanks to kinship ties of its members (wives, sisters, mothers).

Or just "thanks to nipotism among its members" !

agree  Andrew Stefanovsky: I would rather say "kinship networking" - nEpotism sounds a bit rude today. :)

-> Thanks, and sorry about nIpotism: I spelled it Iyalian fashion! It's not rude but, I agree, rather negative and forward. As for networking (hate it as a verb!), networks consist of ties, so, as they say in the States, the same differense.

due to family ties

Explanation:
family ties with organization members (who pull in their wives, sisters, mothers, etc.). Strictly speaking, "wives" are not kin, so I wouldn't use kinship in this context. You can also use "thanks to" in a more positive phrase ("thanks to (organization - not necessary if already mentioned in previous sentence) members who pull in their wives, sisters, and mothers"). You don't have to stick to the Russian sentence structure, obviously!

Explanation:
The number of women in the organization is being increased by female relatives of existing members (wives, sisters, mothers)

I'm a bit uneasy at the "family ties" being described as "wives, sisters, mothers"...
Also, doesn't due to have to family "to be" or is that old-fashioned these days?
