| | | English translation:physical deterioration and obsolescence of usable fixed capital stock | Explanation: Don't really think "physical" is needed. Maybe "assets" instead of "stock".

Not sure that \"usable\" contributes anything either, so you finish up with
deterioration and obsolescence of fixed capital assets

Thanks very much to Igor for his note. I think the word needed is \"equipment\", so we finish up with
Deterioration and obsolescence of capital equipment.
The word \"fixed\" doesn\'t really work with mobile equipment! |

2 hrs confidence:
3 hrs confidence: Deterioration and obsolescence of the active part of industrial / production fixed assets
Explanation: Deterioration and obsolescence of active part of industrial fixed assets

David,
- the word \"equipment\" is a bright idea, but still far from the original. Computers are equipment as well, but we need machines and everything else, which does some work in a workshop. \"Machinery and equipment\"? Please comment!
- by the way, \"active part\" sounds terrible in Russian as well :), but it\'s a term, good or bad (rather bad than good).
- I do not like the word \"capital\" in \"capital equipment\"... Machinery and equipment are, as a rule, classified as fixed assets in accounting, everything else are tools etc.

13 hrs confidence: physical wear and obsolescence...
Explanation: Дальше - как у Igor Zabuta
Deterioration - это скорее распад, разложение, может не иметь никакого отношения к износу
