Non sono sicura della traduzione della parola "гребень". E una sporgenza (incastro). Riporto qui sotto un riferimento, quando apri il sito, vedi la foto del blocco con scanalatura e sporgenza (forse riesci a trovare una parola più precisa). In inglese è tongue.

Наличие паза и гребня позволяет соединить блоки в "замок".

Ho cercato i riferimenti inserenso la parola "ammasso" per "массив", ma non li ho trovati. Adesso forse ne ho trovato uno. Il documento è in pdf.
Ecco il riferimento:"espanso, dovrà essere tagliata in due o tre pezzi per incastrarsi perfettamente.
..... e la miscela si indurisce in un ammasso solido con un processo ...
