Russian term or phrase: Ступенчатая полировка
Щетка не должна иметь сколов, следов подгара и ступенчатой полировки на рабочем торце, омеднения торца. Сколотые щетки подлежат немедленной замене. Ступенчатая полировка (в результате качки щетки) указывает на завышенный зазор между щеткой и обоймой.

agree  oldnick: d'accordo sul difetto. Non sono ammessi scalini sulla superficie lucidata (derivante dall'oscillazione della spazzola) in quanto testimoni all'eccessivogioco tra la spazzola e il "coso".
