agree  Nick Saywell: Agree although if the insurance in question is compulsory (e.g. state medical insurance) maybe deregistration would be better. I would use cancellation for non-compulsory insurance (i.e. where you have some choice in the matter).

  -> Thanks! I see your point. You can't cancel something you're not allowed not to have in the first place. You just deregister and then re-register somewhere else.
