Da li da prevedem kao graduate architectural engineer? Mislim da sam videla na nekim sajtovima ovako napisano. Ili graduate engineer of architecture? U pitanju je diploma iz ove godine, ali je sistem još uvek po starom, mislim.
Explanation: to bi bio zvaničan prevod navedene titule koja se sticala (i koja se još uvek stiče) po starom sistemu na našem arhitektonskom fakultetu, bez obzira na izabrani (i završeni) smer.
Inače na svim našim tehničkim fakultetima se sticala diploma (po starom programu) koja se prevodi kao Bachelor of Science in xxx Egineering, pa smo tako imali i:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

Titula 'diplomirani inženjer arhitekture' se stiče samo na Arhitektonskom fakultetu.
You`re right. If we wish to keep the idea of >holding appropriate documentation/officially qualified to perform a function< that the word diplomirani entails, maybe we should say qualified architectural engineer instead?
A diplomirani is a "degree" (usually a first higher education degree, but sometimes equiv. to a masters). It is a diploma, or the awarding/granting of a diploma. One graduates, but that doesnt mean they are called a graduate (more a graduate student).
