Well by resolving an issue it means to either approve or deny so I guess they would be in the business of resolving things. As I have translated hundreds of pages dealing with clinical trials which are approved or denied by the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia, I am certain that the issue of approval or denial of this application/request/whatever is dealt with in another sentence within this document where it explicitly states that it is approved or denied.

I would not hesitate to use "approved". The Serbian term "rešeno" is used in ample context by various institutions. The drug authority is not in business of resolving anything - they either approve or disapprove of the submitted documents (relating to drug use, I would guess).

because I still cannot be sure whether 'reseno' in Serbian in this context means approved or merely resolved as Anthony states. My Serbian is way too deficient for me to understand the nuance. It seems more logical that it is 'approved', but who knows...
