neutral  PoveyTrans (X): If the meaning is perfume (i.e. from a bottle), then I agree. Otherwise odour would be better for a bodily smell. RESPONSE: Yes, you right. Odour has a potentially more negative connotation depending on context. Smell is the ideal but cannot be used.

  -> Thanks Simon; but in that case I would have to use 'pleasant odours' since 'miris' is also another word for perfume, right? If I understand the word 'odour' properly, it can both pleasant and unpleasant; please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks in advance.
