Explanation:
Nadam se da je ovako forma ispoštovana, izvinjavam se na prethodno datom odgovoru na pogrešan način.

Nisam siguran da li sam dobro razumeo sam tekst, ali meni to zvuči kao da se radi o određenom stepenu nekog platnog razreda, bez obzira što piše 'redni broj'. Npr. kada se neko zaposli, njegov stepen platnog razreda bi bio npr. 1, pa onda sa svakom godinom ili kako već, stepen se povećava u okviru istog platnog razreda sve do određenog nivoa kada se prelazi u sledeći razred. Ako sam u pravu, moj prevod bi bio sledeći:

platni razred - salary grade
redni broj - (salary) step

Možda ste imali priliku da vidite oznaku recimo 5/3 za nečiju platu i u takvim oznakama, 5 bi bilo 'grade', a 3 bi stajalo za 'step'.

Naravno moguće je i da grešim, ali možda vam i ovo pomogne.
