Oznamenie/pre ohlasovnu

Osobne v takom pripade by som si nerobila z toho velku hlavu. Ohlasovňa, nie ohlašovňa je oddelenie kde sa niečo ohlasuje, nie ohlašuje. Napríklad sobáš, poruchy, centrálny úrad napr. obv. úradu "registration office"

Didn't try but by the sound, it was an elderly lady with Hungarian as the language of everyday use, so I don't think that I'd had got too far with English.

Thanks all. It was "Register office" in the end. I rang them and asked. Still not sure what other information this last row could contain. Czechtrans you are right. Last thing on marriage certificates is "Poznamky" (I checked with people at home) but this one has one more row "Oznamenie". Will have to do more research on it. A woman I spoke to couldn't speak much Slovak, so there was not much point to ask for explanation what it was intended for.

marriage certificates forms and I would be surprised, if Slovak will be suddendly different. This lead me to another question - how do you know this is a real document? If you email it to me, I will tell you what I think, I translated a few already(smile)

They are probably talking about report to a registrar office, either local or central. You should find out what they are exactly doing, and translate it correctly, otherwise your translation will not be correct. Also there is nothing like this on Czech
