Explanation:
servitude – according to my ‘Black’s law dictionary’, an encumbrance consisting in a right to the limited use of a piece of land or other immovable property without possession of it. There are various forms of ‘servitude’ and they include easements, irrevocable licenses and real covenants. More of the context would be needed to find the equivalent, or most appropriate, property related servitude for your sentence. My understanding is that usufruct is one type of ‘personal servitude’.
