Electronic cross-talk is believed to be related to incomplete restoration of the baseline voltage on the capacitor used for signal integration in the on-chip focal plane integrated analog electronics, following a signal readout and refresh with that capacitor. The spectral filter rejection for thermal leaks in the SWIR bands was not adequate to eliminate signal response for the SWIR bands. All pre-launch testing was performed with a blackbody scene, and on-orbit corrections are planned based on measured radiance at 7.3 �m. This correction is present in the production code but the values are a set of theoretical values for the thermal leak correction and have not been validated on-orbit. Validation of the thermal leak into the SWIR bands may be complicated if electronic cross-talk is not eliminated.
