Explanation:
De "procurador" vertegenwoordigt zijn cliënten bij de rechtbank. Hij maakt een (civiele) zaak eventueel aanhangig bij de rechtbank; een advocaat is meestal tevens procureur (zie Fockema). De officier van Justitie (in strafzaken) is belast met opsporing en vervolging van strafbare feiten en die vertaling is hier dus niet op zijn plaats.

Asker: Hartelijk dank voor je waardevolle uitleg. In het 'Juridisch woordenboek Ned. - Spaans TMC Asser Instituut vond ik bij 'procurador' o.a. 'representante del/ de la demandante'. Ik denk dat in dit geval 'procureur'in de zin van 'procesvertegenwoordiger' de juiste vertaling is. Groet, Annelies van Gurp
