Explanation:
Je gaf de correctie van "custa" al aan, maar helaas bleef het verkeerd overgenomen "mudo" plakken. Overigens: "mudo" > "stom" (als in: zwijgend, zonder te spreken). Evengoed: de uitdrukking is "cuesta mucho" maar "es caro" ("is duur") komt ook veel voor, als het om geld kosten gaat. Noot: ook als het om moeite kosten gaat kan "cuesta mucho" worden gebruikt.

Nina,
Waarschijnlijk zijn we met een typo in *mudo* in plaats van mucho.
*Mudo* in het Spaans betekent "sprakeloos" (niks te maken met het zintje).
Mucho is op dit voorbeeld de tegenwaarde voor "duur". En er hoeft geen naamwoord te volgen. Daarom zou ik *¿Cuesta mucho?* vertalen als "Kost het duur?". (Let op met cUEsta).
