Ik weet niet of cortesía idd is afgeleid van het werkwoord (of dat het andersom is), maar "cortejar" komt het dichtst in de buurt.
Vergelijk ook 'courtoisie', de hoofse liefde.
En 'titre de courtoisie', hoftitel zoals prinses Laurentien's wikipagina te lezen is: "Alhoewel zij door haar huwelijk geen adeldom heeft verkregen wordt ze sindsdien aangeduid met haar 'titre de Courtoisie', namelijk Hare Koninklijke Hoogheid Laurentien Prinses der Nederlanden, Prinses van Oranje-Nassau, mevrouw Van Amsberg-Brinkhorst, maar in het dagelijks gebruik wordt ze kortweg "Prinses Laurentien" genoemd." |
