Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Accounting / National Accounts (United Nations)
Spanish term or phrase: bienes en comodato
This is a document on National Accounts, based on the United Nations System of National Accounts 1993. I'm assuming that "bienes de uso" is 'goods of use' - hope that's OK. Here is the entire context:

Tasa_Deprec.=Depreciación_de_Bienes/(Bs._Uso_Depreciables+Bs._en_Comodato)=
Dep._Ejercicio / Stock

Assets on loan for use

Explanation:
Be careful!

'Bienes de uso' is an accounting concept equivalent to 'property, plant and equipment' in the US, and to 'fixed assets' in the UK.

Therefore, I would suggest property, plant and equipment/or/fixed assests on loan for use.

Cheers.

bienes de uso en comodato (Lat.Am.)
free-leased/free-loaned tangible assets

Explanation:
Agreeing with the caution required, I'm sticking in the 'de uso' to save you posting a sep. question.

In Arg. & Urug. etc., bienes de uso contrast with bienes de cambio. Also, motor cars are bailed with a garage for repair, rather than a co. assets.
