Spanish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Accounting | | Spanish term or phrase: acreditar (in context) | I just need someone with any expertise to help me with the meaning of acreditar in the following phrase:
"La compañía XXX ACREDITA de la compañía YYY la cantidad de ... euros por suministros de productos acabados."
If you acreditar una cantidad de una compañía, is it an acknowledgment that the latter company has paid that sum to the former? Many thanks to anyone who can help! |
| | | credit/certify | Explanation: Robert, both options exist: the company credits (the company is paying for the supply of products) and the company certifies the payment (the other enterprise is paying for the delivery of the goods) depending on your context
