Spanish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - AccountingSpanish term or phrase: "Pago cheque por caja" Just checking on the real meaning of this as it appears in an invoice or account history.
One translator left it as "Check Payment in Cash" but I know that's not it.
Probably not cashier's check (cheque de caja).
Thoughts?
Cashier's check Explanation: I think you are right, it means you can cash your check at the teller's.
In my opinion, the translator's version is a way to explain "payment of a check in cash". Where can you cash a cheque? What do you use for that?
