Hi. From a list of the documents requested from a company for the purpose of calculating its corporate ecological footprint, using a method that looks at the company accounts:

"Para el cálculo de la huella ecológica de XXX, se solicitó el Balance de Sumas y Saldos, el detalle del Inmovilizado Material, así como el detalle del Mayor de algunas Cuentas al Departamento económico-financiero."

the subledger/journal entries for certain accounts


Explanation:
The General Ledger -el Libro Mayor- does not hold details but summary accounts. Details are entered in the "Libro de Diario" which is usually referred to as subledger / journal, type being sales, purchasing, etc.
