Las amortizaciones se realizan en línea recta, amortizándose las barricas en 3 años, el software en 3 años, y la imagen de marca en 5 años. Amortiza año de alta y no amortiza año de baja.

Encontré en otras entradas que "año de alta" puede ser "within the first year/within the year of acquisition" y "año de baja" puede ser "disposition year", pero no entiendo el significado de la oración.

agree  patinba: although for fixed assets I would stick with depreciation in the US also.
